Doug Lyon, PhD
Douglas W. (Doug) Lyon is an Associate Professor of Management at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Professor Lyon’s industry experience includes a variety of financial positions with Price Waterhouse and Chevron Corporation. He received his PhD in Management Strategy from the University of Kentucky, holds a Masters degree from the American Graduate School of International Management - Thunderbird, and is a Certified Public Accountant. His undergraduate degree is in accounting from Fort Lewis College. Professor Lyon's research has been published in leading management journals, including the Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and the Journal of Management Education, and he has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Lyon was honored with the Fort Lewis College featured scholar award in 2005 and was Utah State University College of Business teacher of the year in 2002.
