Student Team Competition

University of Nevada, Reno: Bloomberg Businessweek Team Competition

Each student will be randomly assigned to one of 12 groups of 17 students each. Each group will accumulate points during a designated week of the course, and the three groups with the highest scores will be awarded prizes at the end of the semester.

Points will be earned in two ways:

  • Each group will prepare a ten‐minute multimedia presentation for one class session that covers three Business articles (excluding the main article, which will be assigned weekly reading for the entire class)
  • Each group will post presentation materials and other relevant information (videos, links, comments, etc.) to the BUS 101 Facebook page to generate comments and likes from other students in the class
