Abstract

After six women accused him of unwanted sexual advances, Justin Caldbeck, who ran Binary Capital LLC, stepped down from his job. But he is trying a comeback. After initially claiming his innocence, Caldbeck has admitted to the sexual harassment claims and is now trying to educate young men about the dangers of "bro culture" in the workplace. He gave his first presentation to 50 Duke University students.

Not everyone believes that Caldbeck is sincere about his remorse, and they don't think he deserves a second chance. Diversity advocates are questioning whether he is the appropriate person to teach others how to behave. Others are questioning why he doesn't include women in his presentation. Since his resignation in June, Caldbeck spends most of his time at home in Hillsborough, Calif. where he is drafting letters of apology to the three women who went on the record with their accusations.
